Inventory, bank, and keyring
Bagnon   Updated less than 3 days ago!   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Bagnon is an addon that merges all of your bags into three frames: One for your inventory, one for your bank, and one for your keyring. Beyond the basic all-in-one inventory functionality, Bagnon also provides the following features:
  • Items can be colored based on quality
  • Quest items can be highlighted
  • Text searching (see syntax below)
  • Offline viewing of inventory information from your other characters (via Bagnon_Forever or Bagnon_Armory)
  • Databroker plugin support. Both the inventory and bank frames allow you to display a databroker plugin in the bottom left corner. I find this works well with things like Currency Tracker

Included Addons:
  • Bagnon - Provides single window displays for your inventory, bank, and keyring
  • Bagnon_Config - Provides a means of configuring said frames :P
  • Bagnon_Forever - Enables the ability to view your character's bank, or items from any other character on the same server, from anywhere. (You need to log onto each character at least once for this to work).
  • Bagnon_Tooltips - When hovering over an item, this tells you who has an item, and where.

Slash Commands:
  • All commands can start with either /bagnon or /bgn
  • /bagnon keys - Toggles the keyring frame
  • /bagnon bags - Toggles the inventory frame
  • /bagnon bank - Toggles the bank frame
  • /bagnon config - Displays the main options menu

Search Syntax:
  • Bagnon 2.0 uses the same search syntax as Combuctor.
  • To find an item by name, simply type the items name. Typing "silk" will find all items that have "silk" in their name.
  • To find an item by type, subtype, or equip location, type t:<search>. "t:weapon" will find all weapons. "t:main" will find all main hand items.
  • To find an item by quality, type q:<quality>. "q:epic" will find all epic items. You can also use a quality number. "q:0" will find all grey items.
  • Searches can be negated using the ! operator. "!q:epic" will find all items that are NOT epic.
  • A union of two searches can be performed using the | operator. Typing "q:epic|t:weapon" will find all items that are either epic OR weapons.
  • An intersection of two searches can be performed using the & operator. Typing "q:epic&t:weapon" will find all items that are epic AND weapons
  • The following search keywords are also supported:
    • boe - Bind on equip items.
    • quest - Items with "quest item" in their tooltips.
    • bop - Bind on pickup items.
    • boa - Bind on account items.
    • bou - Bind on use items

Also any chance of a Hunters / Warlocks - Soulstone / Ammo individual bag? like the keyring one? or some kind of bag grouping?

Search: probably.

Individual bags: if you enable the "Display Blizzard frames for disabled bags" setting, then whenever you hide a bag in Bagnon, it will display in the standard interface. Otherwise, no. Bagnon is still an all-in-one inventory addon, after all :P

Yea, I claim tiredness. Yea, that's it.

My apologies, just read one thing and my mind translated to something else.

This is a great addon, thanks for the time and effort in making it.
Did you try
"To find an item by type, subtype, or equip location, type t:<search>. "t:weapon" will find all weapons. "t:main" will find all main hand items."

as is set on description ?!

Bagnon and Combuctor

Hi,

I see that Bagnon is newer than Combuctor. I used to use the Bagnon until I replace it with Combuctor. The side filters, the bottom tabs and the filters for quality makes my life easier to the game. Specially if I want to sell all that junk items from my inventory or to throw fast a junk item from my inventory if it is full. I don't have to put a search string to find them. Also with the Tabs I have it all to one panel.

So my main question (probably suggestion) is:

Is there any way to merge these features to Bagnon?

Or you can add an extra line to panel with "ready search macro" to filter items by category or quality.

Friendly Nick

PS: Yes I know maybe I'm asking to mutch

About keys : i prefer the present solution.
But it's because i use the standard UI, so there's only one button to click to access keys.
I remember when i used a bar addon (bongos), i have to
- open my bag
- make keys appear (i don't want to see all these keys when i mostly never have to use them)
And that was 2 clicks.
I understand than people with addon bars with no button for direct access to keyring can miss the old way bagnon handle that, but for standard UI users, i think it's better now.
Maybe Tuller can make this as an option, to have everybody happy (except Tuller, i suppose ^^) ?

I hope this is a bug and looking forward to it being fixed.
I second this request.

Some of my bags are not displayed by default, like my Engineering bag, or my alternate gear bag, for example. But I sometimes want to see their content. The new Bagnon makes this much harder. Well, maybe not hard, but annoying anyway.

Also, bags no longer open at mailbox. Is this some config that I'm missing, a feature that was removed, or Bagnon never done this and the guilty is some other totally unrelated addon?

/sign @ phanx.
The way it was in previous versions was a perfect solution. Why not continue having it that way?

I'm disappointed to hear that. Since there is nothing in the new version for me as a user (other than the DataBroker thing, which is pretty cool, I admit), and nothing wrong with the old version, I may just keep using the old version until it breaks.

That's true. But, since it is something so rarely accessed, why force me to:

a) assign and remember yet another keybind (I play four characters with a total of six distinct roles, and operate primarily via keybinds),

b) have yet another icon on my DataBroker display that I will very rarely need to click, and will need to read the tooltip to figure out how to click it the right way, or

c) have yet another icon in the Bagnon frame to wade through each time I want to perform a more common function (I am nearsighted with astigmatism, and the icons are so small that they are hard for me to see without making the bag frame ridiculously huge, so I mainly just mouse over them to find the one I want at any given time).

The most common reason for opening my keyring is that the game placed something there which isn't a "real" key, but is actually an item I need to use, such as blacksmith keys, or which is a quest item whose quantity I want to keep track of (there are quite a few quests affected by this, by the way). Having to open a totally separate frame by some obscure method when I want to open a lockbox or see if I have enough keys to free 10 prisoners is an unnecessary hassle. If Blizzard would fix these items so that they didn't automatically go to the key ring, it wouldn't be an issue, but alas, Blizzard has bigger problems to solve and more new stuff to add, so recoding blacksmith and quest keys is probably very very low on their list of priorities.

Yeah, I did, and Bagnon has always treated the keyring like another bag. It was hidden by default, but it showed up next to the other bags, and clicking it to toggle it to shown caused keys to show up in the same frame as the contents of my bags.
